Metis has launched the alpha version of its decentralized sequencer.

BlockBeats news reported on March 15th that Metis, an Ethereum Layer2 network, has launched the alpha version of its decentralized sequencer. Sequencer nodes will receive METIS rewards to incentivize their participation in block generation and transaction processing on the network. In the first year, all sequencer nodes will have a 20% mining reward rate. The Metis development team stated that this is the first Ethereum Rollup to support decentralized sequencers.
